Tanna M. Abraham empowers others to live purpose-filled lives. Her desire for people to experience lasting change fuels her passion for ministry. Tanna's life experiences have birthed in her an affinity to those who seek sincere and relevant answers that will help them find meaning and hope in the face of daily challenges. Her dynamic energy and transparent personality encourages others to live with boldness, integrity and excellence.


With more than 10 years in ministerial leadership, Tanna specializes in discipleship, small groups communication, women’s ministry and young adult ministry. She attended Rhema Bible College where she studied Biblical Studies and Leadership, with a focus on evangelism.


As an Xennial (Generation X/Millennial), Tanna is especially equipped to speak to a generation who has largely drifted away from the church in search of authentic community and true life change. She seeks to connect with those who have become disillusioned with religious tradition and inspire them to develop an intimate relationship with God, build genuine connections and cultivate unwavering faith. 


Tanna desires to create a culture of Christ followers who are emboldened to challenge cultural norms and are involved and invested in local, national and international issues. It is her mission to help individuals discover their natural and spiritual gifts, and empower them to identify their God-given purpose. She envisions a faith-filled community that attracts others through its authenticity, service and generosity. Tanna is the Founder and President of Women On Purpose, a thriving community of women intentional about fulfilling their purpose. Additionally, Tanna serves on the ministerial staff at Mount Jezreel Baptist Church. In her current role, she serves as Minister to Young Adults.


Tanna is a dedicated parent of a dashing and energetic 10-year-old, and resides in Silver Spring, Maryland.
